University units purchasing or procuring software or other electronic or online products or services are responsible for ensuring that such products or services comply with all accessibility requirements under applicable law and university policy.  

When soliciting proposals or bids for such products or services, departments should request information about potential vendors’ compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) requirements. Contracts for software or other electronic or online products or services must mandate compliance with these requirements unless a specific exception is approved by the Office of Contract Administration.
